The weather of Ganpatipule which is located in the coastal district of Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra, India records a typical coastal temperature. This place is well known to the tourist for its religious temple of Swayambhu Ganapati and also for its beautiful beach stretching along the Konkan coastline covering the neat blue watered Arabian Sea. Ganpatipule consist of a coastal village and is untouched by commercialism with Arcadian beauty and a 6Kms stretched virgin coastline.

In this period the weather is cold and comfortable. In the summers the climate turns too hot over around 38-40 degrees centigrade. Sometimes the summer temperature reaches over 42 degrees.

With rainfall in the Konkan comes the rainy season and it stretches from June till September. The weather in Ganpatipule during winter is the best season to visit Ganpatipule since the weather chilly and comforting. The average winter temperature is about 20 degrees. The lowest temperature recorded there in winter is 12 degrees. So, winter is preferred mostly by the tourists who come from northern hilly regions. Gauri Ganapati, Magh Chaturthi is celebrated with piety and enthusiasm in around the month of February.

Among other festivals Holi in March and Dewali in October is also celebrated with pomp and show over here. Being a religious place celebration takes place throughout the year with joy and sacred hearts. Thus the overall weather within Ganpatipule is of typical coastline weather with sunny warm and humid beach. So do not forget to take your sunglasses, sun lotion and swim wear if you visit this place during summer.
